Thursday Open Competitions is a weekly men's singles stableford competition held at Macreddin Golf Club, an 18-hole Par 72 course designed by Paul McGinley in the Wicklow Mountains. The event is open to visiting golfers. Entry fee is €35 for visitors (€7 for members), or €50 including buggy hire. Players must hold a handicap of 28 or less (men) or 36 or less (ladies), or be able to play to an equivalent standard. Normal GUI/ILGU dress code applies with soft spikes only. Tee times are available from 09:00 onwards and can be booked online. Bookings are transferable to other players.
