August Self Open Competition (8月セルフオープンコンペ) is an individual 18-hole competition played on the West Course at Kushiro Country Club. The event uses Peria scoring, a stableford-type system. Entry fee is ¥2,000. This is a quasi-official competition (準公式競技) open to visitors. Tee times available: Regular, Front 1, and Front 2. Start time is 9:00. Entries close two days before the competition at 4:00 PM. Participants may be limited in number.

Together, they form the Tsurui Course complex with a combined 36 holes. The club, established in 1963, boasts a 62-year history and is recognized as a prestigious country club. The courses are characterized as expansive layouts set against Hokkaido's majestic natural landscape, featuring challenging yet beautiful terrain designed to inspire competitive spirit.
