The 5th Annual Blood River Four-Ball is a two-day amateur golf event held at Carter Plantation in Springfield, Louisiana. The competition takes place on Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13, 2026. Teams of two players compete in a two-man best ball (betterball) format over 36 holes. The entry fee is $450 per team, which includes 36 holes of championship golf, breakfast and lunch both days, a Srixon backpack tee gift, participation in a Calcutta auction, door prize eligibility, and an open bar on Saturday evening. Tee times start at 9:00 AM both days. A Calcutta auction is held Saturday at 8:00 PM where every team is auctioned to the highest bidder, with a 50% buyback rule; prize money from the Calcutta is distributed 60% to 1st place, 30% to 2nd place, and 10% to 3rd place. Additional prizes include door prizes worth thousands of dollars, a ReelGolf Closest-to-the-Pin contest (Saturday, sponsored by Tito's), and a Tito's Putting Contest (Saturday, 5:15 PM). An elevated Calcutta dinner is held Saturday at 7:00 PM. Players are divided into age flights: Golds (under 60), Blues (60-70), and Reds (70+). Sunday play features a shootout/horse race format for top teams based on Saturday scores. USGA Rules of Golf apply. Collared shirts required; no denim on course.
