The August Open is a pairs betterball stableford competition held at Ingestre Park Golf Club on Monday 31st August 2026. The event is open to both gentlemen and ladies, with any combination of two gentlemen, two ladies, or one gentleman and one lady permitted per side. Stableford scoring with 95% handicap allowance. Pairs betterball scoring at 85% handicap allowance. Maximum playing handicaps are 24 for gentlemen (playing from the white tees) and 33 for ladies (playing from the red tees). The entry fee is £35 per person for visitors and £25 per person for members. The entry fee includes a bacon sandwich and tea or coffee on arrival, followed by a BBQ on the balcony after play. Players must have submitted a minimum of 3 scores to the World Handicap System in the 12 months prior to the competition to be eligible to win a prize. iGolf members may enter but are not allowed to win any prize. Online signup is available and closes at 12:00 am on the day of the competition (31st August 2026).
