Xanti-Solar Men's Cup

The Xanti-Solar Men's Cup is a weekly men's handicap-relevant tournament series held at Golfclub Hünxerwald e.V. Each tournament takes place on Wednesdays with a start time of 13:00 (or 12:30 depending on participant numbers). The event is open to visitors and non-members, who are explicitly welcomed. Entry fee is 20€ for members, with visitors paying an additional 45€ green fee (total 65€ for visitors). The entry fee includes a 2€ Birdie Pool contribution and a shared meal after the round. The maximum handicap is 36.0; golfers with a higher handicap are welcome to participate if they start in the same flight with a 'godparent' (an experienced player with a handicap under 18), with personal registration at the club office. Prizes are awarded for gross (top 2) and net (categories A and B, top 3) scores. Special awards include a Birdie Pool (up to 1 birdie per player on 3 designated holes), Nearest-to-the-Pin, and Longest Drive, with payouts for birdie pool winners even without attending the prize ceremony. Non-attending winners pass their prize to the next highest placed attendee. Entry can be made online via www.golf.de, through the BRS Golfer App, via the clubhouse entry list, or at the club office. The deadline for entry is 10:00 on the day of the tournament. The series comprises 27 weekly tournaments throughout the season, with a year-end overall ranking for club members based on the best 15 results from 27 events (with 4 double-value days).
