Xanti-Solar Men's Cup

The Xanti-Solar Men's Cup is a handicap-relevant individual strokeplay tournament series held at Golfclub Hünxerwald e.V. The 2026 season comprises 27 weekly tournaments, typically starting at 13:00 (or 12:30 depending on participant numbers). The event is open to men aged 18 and over. Guests are explicitly welcome, with a special greenfee of €45 payable in addition to the €20 start fee. The entry fee includes a €2 Birdie Pool contribution and a shared meal after the round. The maximum handicap for entry is 36.0; players with a higher handicap (HCPi) may enter if accompanied by a 'patron' (an experienced player with a handicap under 18) who starts in the same flight, provided they register personally at the clubhouse secretariat. Entries can be made online via www.golf.de, through the BRS Golfer App, or via the clubhouse sign-up list, with a deadline of 10:00 on the day of the tournament. Prizes are awarded daily for gross (1st and 2nd place) and net scores (categories A and B, 1st to 3rd place). Special daily competitions include a Birdie Pool (one birdie per player counted on 3 designated holes, paid out proportionally to the winner even if absent from the prize ceremony), Nearest-to-the-Pin, and Longest Drive, with the specific holes for the latter two determined daily by the tournament director. The annual overall classification considers the best 15 results from the 27 tournaments, with four double-value days (10.06, 12.08, 07.10, and 14.10.2026) where the best score counts double. The final tournament on 14.10.2026 is restricted to club members who have participated in at least three series events.
