The Chevin Trophy Scratch Open Round 1 is a men's individual strokeplay competition held at Otley Golf Club on Friday 11th June 2027. The event is played from the White tees with a 95% handicap allowance. It features a Yorkshire Order of Merit 36 Hole Scratch Medal Open for players with a maximum Handicap Index of 12.0. The entry fee is £60 per player, which includes lunch. Entry closes on 7th June 2027, with a maximum field of 48 players; higher handicaps may be ballotted out if necessary. Players are drawn in reverse handicap order and tee times are notified 5 days before the competition. Prizes include Best Gross 36 Holes £700, Runner-up £350, Third £150, plus Best Net 36 Holes £100, Best Gross and Net prizes for AM and PM sessions. Players may only win one prize. All winners are published on the Otley GC website.
