Thirsk & Northallerton Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course located in North Yorkshire, nestled in the countryside near Thornton-le-Street. Established in 1914 as a 9-hole course, it was extended to its present 18-hole layout in 1997. The course offers spectacular views across the rolling Hambleton Hills to the east and Wensleydale vale to the west, set within a richly agricultural landscape. The club describes itself as family-friendly and welcoming to golfers of all ages and handicaps. The course presents an exciting challenge across varying ability levels, with well-maintained fairways and greens. Its parkland setting combines natural beauty with accessible design, situated conveniently close to both the A19 and A1 roads. The club is affiliated with several regional golf unions including the Harrogate & District Union of Golf Clubs and Yorkshire Union of Golf Clubs. It holds R&A Women in Golf Charter accreditation and is committed to promoting participation across all genders and age groups.
