The Ocean Shores Pro-Am returns on Wednesday 19th August 2026 as part of the PGA Australia QLD Division Adidas Pro-Am Series. Amateurs have the chance to tee it up alongside Australia's leading PGA Professionals and rising stars on the championship course at Ocean Shores Country Club. The event has a proud history of showcasing future stars, including Wayne Riley (1983), Ryan Peake (2023), and Jordan O'Brien (2025). Members pay $49 and visitors pay $89. Ocean Shores Golf Course

New South Wales, Australia

Ocean Shores Country Club is located on the far north coast of New South Wales, just north of Byron Bay, across the river from Brunswick Heads and 30 minutes south of Coolangatta. The golf course is set amongst natural flora, with a backdrop of the Koonyum Ranges. The Country Club enjoys spectacular ocean views down to Cape Byron and its famous lighthouse. The course is an early 1970s design by Bruce Devlin and Robert von Hagge, configured with six par threes, six par fours and six par fives, where water comes into play at many of the holes. One of the stand-out features of the course is the large greens, protected by extensive bunkering. Laid out between Marshalls Creek and the Brunswick River, the course is configured as two returning nines, with the relatively open front nine weaving around several attractive water hazards, while the more tree-lined back nine is significantly longer and tougher.
