The event features a Greensomes format played as Stableford from Yellow tees (men) and Red tees (ladies). Each team must consist of one lady and one gentleman, playing from the men's stroke indices and par. The entry fee is £90 per pair for visitors (£60 for members/member-and-visitor combinations), which includes coffee and a bacon roll on arrival, plus a two-course dinner after the competition. Entrants must be aged 55 or over on the day of the competition and hold a valid WHS handicap index. Men are limited to a handicap index of 24.2 and ladies to 31.0; visitors with higher handicaps may play with committee permission but must play off a course handicap equivalent to the maximum entry index. Prizes are awarded for 1st to 4th place, plus Best Front 9, Best Back 9, and NTP. To win prizes, both players must have at least 6 individual competition scores in their WHS handicap record within the 12 months prior to the competition. Entry opens on 1st November 2025 and closes on 3rd August 2026, with online signup available. The shotgun start is at 1:00pm. Dress code is golfing attire on the course and smart casual in the clubhouse.
