The PMGC Men's Open is a two-round 36-hole individual strokeplay competition held at Pambula Merimbula Country Club on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 October 2026. Round 1 is an 18-hole stroke round on Saturday with preferred playing times between 7am and 12.30pm, and Round 2 is an 18-hole stroke round on Sunday with a 9am shotgun start. The event is sponsored by G.J. Gardner Homes. It is open to men with a current Golf Australia handicap, and visitors may enter and win all trophies by paying the green fee and competition fees. Maximum handicap for men is 45. Entry is made via the Pro Shop (phone 02 6495 6280) using a paper entry form, with full payment required on entry by credit card or EFT. The visitor fee is $40 per day (PMGC members $35 per day). Daily and 36-hole prizes are awarded for each grade, with grades determined by entries.

Pambula Merimbula Golf Club is a 27-hole championship course located on the Sapphire Coast of New South Wales, situated among pristine natural bushland with views of Merimbula Lake and Pacific Ocean beaches. The course is ranked in Australia's Top 100 golf courses and presents challenges suitable for golfers of all skill levels. The layout is distinctive for its immersive wildlife experience, with players encountering kangaroos year-round, diverse bird species, and occasional goannas throughout play. The course's natural setting incorporates the surrounding landscape as an integral feature of the golfing experience. The facility maintains meticulously groomed fairways and greens across its 27 holes, allowing flexibility for tournament play while accommodating public visitors. Modern golf carts equipped with GPS mapping are available for hire. The course is open daily to the public, with the design permitting visitor play even during club competitions. Complementing the course is The 28th Cafe/Bar, situated near the 10th tee and pro shop, offering refreshments and views over the course. The club maintains an active tournament schedule and competition program throughout the year.
