Seniors Open Texas Scramble competition for senior men aged 55 and over, held at Wells Golf Club on Wednesday 26th May 2027. The event is played from the Yellow tees in a two-ball Texas Scramble format with medal (strokeplay) scoring. Handicap allowance is 35% of the low handicap and 15% of the high handicap, with the highest playing handicap allowance equivalent to 28. Each player must contribute a minimum of 7 drives. The competition is open to visiting non-member golfers. Entry fee is £44 per person for visitors, which includes coffee and a bacon roll on arrival and a meal from the specials board after play. Members pay £20 per person. Prize categories include high and low handicap awards for home and away scores, plus a best gross score prize. All prizes are vouchers usable at Wells Golf Club Pro Shop and Clubhouse. There is no two's sweepstake. iGolf handicaps and society-associated players are subject to terms and conditions.
