The 44th Annual City Week of Golf is a mixed amateur week of golf held 1-6 November 2026 across five Sapphire Coast courses, timed around Melbourne Cup Week. Event 1 is a 4BBB (betterball) Stableford at Bega/Tura on Sunday 1 November (9:30am shotgun); Event 2 is a Men's & Ladies Individual Stableford at Bermagui CC on Monday 2 November (9:30am shotgun); Tuesday 3 November is a rest day with an optional Medley Stableford at Tura Beach (8am shotgun, comp fee only); Event 3 is a Men's & Ladies Individual Stableford at Eden Sports & Rec on Wednesday 4 November (9:30am shotgun); Event 4 is a Men's & Ladies Individual Stableford at Pambula/Merimbula GC on Thursday 5 November (9:30am shotgun); and Event 5 is a Men's & Ladies Individual Stableford at Tura Beach CC on Friday 6 November (9:00am shotgun), followed by a presentation lunch at approximately 2:00pm. Events 3, 4 and 5 combine into a 54-hole event with overall Men's and Ladies winners. Eligible players are male and female amateurs holding a current Australian GA handicap, with a Men's handicap limit of 36 and a Ladies handicap limit of 45. The $350 AUD entry fee covers all five events, the presentation lunch and a one-year social membership; players not playing all events pay $70 per day, and guests may join the presentation lunch for $20. Registration is on Saturday 31 October 2026 from 5:00pm to 6:00pm in the Banksia Room at Tura Beach Country Club. Entries close on Friday 16 October 2026 or when fields reach capacity; entry forms can be returned to the Tournament Director, PO Box 187, Merimbula NSW 2548, or emailed to golf@turabeachcountryclub.com.au. All events are shotgun starts and competitors must register at the Pro Shop at least 30 minutes before the official start. Carts must be booked separately with the relevant Pro Shop, and players must adhere to the dress regulations of the relevant club.
