Monthly 2-person scramble competition held at Vaaler Creek Golf Club in Blanco, Texas. The event runs as a series of monthly rounds from March through November 2026, with Round #7 scheduled for Sunday, July 26, 2026 at 8:30 AM. Entry fee is $85 per player, which includes 18 holes of golf with cart, range balls, one mulligan, three drink tickets, lunch, and prizes. Teams consist of two players competing in a scramble format under strokeplay scoring. Handicap allowances are 20% of verified handicaps and 10% of estimated (unverified) handicaps. Maximum handicap for men is 25 and for women is 35. Men under 60 play from the blue tees, men aged 60 and over play from the white tees, and women play from the red tees. Registration is conducted online via signup.golf, where participants must provide their GHIN number if they have an established handicap. Each team registers together, and players can specify preferred partners in the notes section. The event is open to both members and visitors; full members may also register through the golf shop. There are 124 available spots for this round.

Vaaler Creek Golf Club is an 18-hole championship course located in Blanco, Texas, within the Rockin' J Ranch community, approximately 40 miles north of San Antonio. The course was fully opened in July 2009 and was designed by Michael Lowry. It has been recognized as the #1 Golf Course in the Texas Hill Country by Golf Now, the #11 Best Courses in Texas by Golf Advisor in 2019, and the #10 Best Course Conditions in the USA by Golf Advisor in 2015. The course features well-placed bunkers and water features designed to provide a challenging yet accessible round for players of all skill levels. The setting encompasses over 1,000 rolling acres of Hill Country terrain, set amidst ancient sea beds and limestone canyons. The design incorporates historic ranch elements, with some 150-year-old structures and landmarks integrated into the clubhouse and course layout. The course offers membership programs for property owners in the community, along with stay-and-play packages featuring nearby Tuscany Heights Condominiums. Monthly scrambles and various tournaments are regularly hosted throughout the year.
