Beginners' Tournament at Golfe da Quinta do Fojo on July 26, 2026, from 09:30 to 13:30. This is a 12-hole handicap competition played in Stableford Full Handicap format. Open to all players affiliated with the FPG (Portuguese Golf Federation) with a certified handicap index from their home club, as well as all players who are registering their first handicap or need to register cards to reactivate their handicap. Handicap range: 28.0 to 54.0 for both men and ladies, and all players registering their first handicap. Entries can be made via the website www.golfojo.com, email geral@golfojo.com, phone 22 772 70 70, or directly at the Golfe da Quinta do Fojo reception. Entries are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Entry fee includes a course bar. Tie-breaks are based on the best last 9, 6, and 3 holes; if still tied, the lowest handicap wins. Rules follow the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews rules, local rules, and those set by the Technical Committee.
