Open strokeplay competition at Golfe da Quinta do Fojo on July 19, 2026, from 09:00 to 14:00. The event is open to all golfers with a valid EGA handicap, with a maximum handicap of 36.0 for both men and ladies. Entry is available online at www.golfojo.com, by email to geral@golfojo.com, by phone at 22 772 70 70, or in person at the club reception. A maximum of 56 players is accepted, and if entries exceed the limit, club members receive priority. Check-in begins at 08:00 with a shotgun start at 09:00. The competition is played under strokeplay rules with a maximum of 9 strokes per hole, governed by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews rules, local rules, and technical commission regulations. Entry fees are €50.00 for members of Golfe da Quinta do Fojo and non-members, €35.00 for Vale Pisão members, and €30.00 for juniors; the fee includes a course bar. A free lunch is provided. Prizes are awarded for 1st and 2nd place in strokeplay, 1st and 2nd in net medal, and 1st in net medal for ladies, plus special prizes for Longest Drive (men and ladies) and Nearest to Pin. In the event of a tie, the tie-break proceeds successively by best last 9, 6, and 3 holes, then best last hole; for gross classification the higher handicap wins, and for net classification the lower handicap wins. The technical commission is composed of Carlos Castro and Francisca Osório.
