Men's Mid Amateur Open

Men's 36-hole qualifying medal (strokeplay) competition at Porters Park Golf Club, played off the White tees with a 95% handicap allowance. Open to male amateur golfers aged 35 years or over on the day of the competition who are members of an affiliated golf club with a current handicap not exceeding 9.4. Confirmation of CDH ID number is required for online entry. Entry fee of £80 per visitor (members £45) includes tea/coffee, a sausage/bacon roll breakfast, and a two-course rolling lunch between rounds. Maximum field of 72 players; if entries exceed 72, a ballot on handicap determines places. Start sheets are emailed by Wednesday 26th August. Best gross and best nett scores over 36 holes receive a guaranteed £250 voucher each. Additional prizes for best gross and nett scores in the AM and PM rounds (no player may win more than one prize). All ties to be decided over the last 18, 9, 6, or 3 holes as appropriate. Entry deadline: 19 August 2026 (closing at 12:00 am). Entry is online via the club's booking system.
