Drives en Muscadet

Drives en Muscadet is a 3-day amateur golf competition held from 1 to 3 October 2026 across three golf courses: Golf Club de Nantes (Nantes-Vigneux), Golf de Saint-Jean-de-Monts, and Golf de l'Ile d'Or. The event is played in teams of two players (mandatory); individual entry is not accepted. Each day features a different format: 4-ball betterball (4BBB) at Nantes-Vigneux, 2-person scramble at Saint-Jean-de-Monts, and 2-person shamble at l'Ile d'Or. Players are divided into three groups (Clisson, Vallet, Goulaine) that rotate through the courses. The event is open to licensed amateur golfers; professionals may participate but their scores do not count in rankings. Teams with a combined handicap index below 14 are also excluded from rankings. For classification purposes, men's handicaps are capped at 24 and ladies' at 28. The entry fee is 320€ per player (normal rate) or 280€ for members of partner golf clubs. Early registration discount of 10% applies to the first 100 registered players who are partner club members or previous edition entrants. The package includes green fees at all three courses, an invitation to the opening evening (30 September at Volvo Général Automobile, Orvault), a closing gala dinner (3 October at Le Champilambart, Vallet), a daily snack and Muscadet tasting, a branded polo, a welcome gift, and daily prize-giving ceremonies. Post-round lunches are not included and must be booked separately with the respective golf courses. Registrations opened on 1 December 2025; field size is limited to 144 teams (288 players).
