The 2026 Maine Junior Championship is a two-day, 36-hole individual and team strokeplay competition held at Fairlawn Golf Course in Poland, ME on July 29-30, 2026. Open to all juniors under age 19. Maximum handicap index of 16.0 for high schoolers and 28.0 for middle schoolers. The event runs both an individual championship and an optional two-player team championship simultaneously. Teams are comprised of two players who may select their own teammate; teams are flighted based on the age of the older player. Individuals competing only also compete in the same individual championship. Entry is via Golf Genius online. Entry fee is $30 per day. Individual champions win a trophy and Maine Golf voucher money; team champions also win trophies and voucher money. Parents and spectators are welcome on the course (remaining 50 feet from players, no instruction or advice). Caddies are acceptable with basic knowledge of the game.
