A 36-hole scratch open competition for men aged 55 and over, played over two days on the Blackmoor Colt Course. Wednesday 5th August (afternoon) and Thursday 6th August (morning). Medal strokeplay with 95% handicap allowance. Entrants must hold a WHS handicap of 7.0 or lower and provide their CDH number, date of birth, and email address on the entry form. If oversubscribed, players will be balloted out on handicap with entry fees refunded for those not selected. Entry fee is £110 for visitors or £65 for members, including coffee on arrival both days and a two-course buffet lunch after play on Thursday. Prizes are awarded for the first four overall scratch scores, the best handicap score, and scratch and handicap prizes for age groups 55–59, 60–64, 65–69, and over 70, with no player winning more than one prize. All prizes decided on countback. Scratch prizes are cash prizes; handicap prizes are open Pro Shop vouchers. Prize-giving takes place at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Practice rounds can be booked through the Pro Shop at £50 per round. Maximum 72 entrants. Entries close at 12:00 noon on Monday 13th July 2026.
