Onishi Terrace Golf Club is a nine-hole, par-63 course located in Onishi, Kitanchō, Nakagami District, Okinawa. The layout is divided into an outward and inward nine, with the front nine totaling 2,182 yards and the back nine measuring 1,522 yards from the regular tees. The course is situated in a coastal setting, offering views of the Pacific Ocean and the surrounding cityscape of Nakagusuku Bay. The front nine begins with a demanding par-4 first hole that requires a precise tee shot to the center of the fairway to avoid unseen hazards. The third hole is a short par-3 of just 82 yards, featuring a front bunker and OB areas that test distance control. The fifth hole is a short par-4 where players must choose between aggressive play and safe positioning, as both sides of the fairway carry penalties. The sixth hole, a par-5, presents an uphill second shot that often forces players to lay up to reach the green in regulation. The back nine continues the challenge with a mix of short and mid-range holes. The twelfth hole is a blind, left-dogleg par-4 that looks down toward the East China Sea, requiring careful navigation away from OB markers. Several par-3s on the back nine, including the fifteenth and sixteenth, feature significant elevation changes and strategic bunkering that demand accurate approach shots. The eighteenth hole concludes the round with a water hazard in front of the green and a pot bunker to the left, making a safe right-side finish essential for a good score. The course design emphasizes precision over distance, with many holes featuring tight fairways and strategically placed bunkers. Holes three, four, seven, eleven, fifteen, sixteen, and seventeen are recommended for near pin shots, while the sixth hole is noted for long drives. The layout is designed to take advantage of the coastal wind and terrain, requiring players to read the wind carefully, particularly on the shorter par-3s.
