The 171st Akitsubara Senior Open Competition is a 3-day strokeplay event held at Akitsubara Golf Club in Gojo, Nara Prefecture. The tournament runs from July 29 to July 31, 2026, using a Double Peria format (pairs playing betterball). Open to men and women aged 65 and over (as of the event date). Entry is accepted by phone starting June 29, 2026 at 10:00 AM. Limited to 20 groups per day (60 groups total). The green fee includes caddie, motorized cart, lunch, and entry fee. Guest players pay 14,850 JPY (ages 70+) or 15,800 JPY (under 70); members pay 11,550 JPY (ages 70+) or 12,500 JPY (under 70).
