The 'Dimanche de l'Eté' (Summer Sunday) is a club competition held at Golf de Caen la Mer on 26 July 2026. The event is open to all amateur golfers licensed with the French Golf Federation (FFGolf), whether members or non-members of the club's sporting association (ASGC). Foreign players without FFGolf affiliation are also admitted provided their participation is accepted by the committee and they hold a certified handicap index from their national federation. Entries are made exclusively online via www.isp-golf.fr, opening 10 days before the competition date and closing when the quota is reached or at the latest the day before the event at 23:00. The entry fee is €15 for non-members (€5 for ASGC members; free for under-21 ASGC members), payable on the day of competition upon scorecard submission. The competition follows the club's standard regulations: default scoring is Stableford or Strokeplay unless otherwise specified, with handicap series based on index (up to 11.4 for 1st series men, 20.4 for 1st series ladies; up to 54 for 3rd series men). Handicaps above 36 are capped at 36 for competition purposes. Maximum field size is 120 players on the 18-hole course (Plaine-Vallon) or 44 on the 9-hole course (Bois). Golf buggies are not permitted unless a medical certificate authorizes it. Prize-giving takes place in the evening at the clubhouse.
