Southern Jutland Open

The Southern Jutland Open (Sydjysk Open) is Denmark's largest amateur golf tournament, held annually across three golf courses in Southern Jutland: Vejen Golfklub, Kaj Lykke Golfklub, and Ribe Golf Klub. The 2027 event runs from June 24-26, with participants playing one 18-hole round on each of the three courses over three days. The tournament welcomes approximately 300+ players from 60+ clubs across Denmark. Players are divided into four divisions (A, B, C, D) based on handicap, with A-rank playing strokeplay and B/C/D-ranks playing stableford. Maximum handicap allowance is 40 strokes. The event includes full catering (sandwiches and drinks per round), a prize-giving dinner on Saturday evening at Ribe Fritidscenter with a four-course meal, and various prizes including greenfee tickets, Wilson golf sets, and a one-month Toyota car loan for hole-in-one achievements. Entries are handled through Golfbox. The tournament is open to all amateur golfers with an official handicap.
