Resort Open Week takes place on The Deerpark Course at Fota Island Resort from July 27 to August 3, 2026. Open to non-members, the event offers competitive golf on a 27-hole championship course. The Mixed Open Singles competition runs on Monday 27th, Tuesday 28th, Wednesday 29th, Thursday 30th, and Monday August 3rd. The entry fee is €70 per person. The Deerpark Course at Fota Island Resort is a championship golf course located in Cork, Ireland, set within a peaceful landscape surrounded by tall oak trees. The course measures 6,488 yards from the medal tees and plays to a par of 71, forming part of a 27-hole configuration across three courses at the resort. Originally designed in 1993 by Irish Ryder Cup star Christy O'Connor Jr. and English Amateur Champion Peter McEvoy, the course was redesigned in 2000 by golf architect Jeff Howes. The Deerpark Course is maintained to championship standards and has hosted the Irish Open on three occasions as part of Fota Island Resort's prestigious championship lineup. The resort provides comprehensive facilities including buggy hire, club rental, and a modern golf academy equipped with Trackman technology and PGA professional coaching. The course offers a challenging yet balanced test of golf, representing one of Ireland's premier golf destinations.
