The Bishop's Bowl is one of Kent's premier amateur competitions, played at Wildernesse Club since 1930. Notable past champions include Gerald Micklem and Peter Hedges. The competition is a 36-hole scratch strokeplay event played off White tees, open to gentlemen holding a WHS handicap index of 3.1 or better. In the event of oversubscription, a ballot may be necessary. The entry fee of £80 per person includes tea or coffee on arrival, complimentary range tokens, 36 holes of golf, a buffet lunch, afternoon tea, and prizes. Entries close at midnight on 6 August 2026.
