The Boxing Day Scramble is a Texas Scramble team competition held at Shirley Park Golf Club on Saturday 26th December 2026. Teams of four compete, with men playing from the Blue tees and ladies from the Red tees. Handicap allowances are calculated at 25%, 20%, 15%, and 10% from the lowest to highest playing handicap within each team. The event is open to both men and ladies. House guests are welcome, provided each group includes a minimum of one golfing member. Entry fee is £5.00 per member, with payment taken manually from each player's bar card; non-members must have their member host pay for their guests in advance. Maximum entries are 104. Prizes are awarded on the day. Sign-ups open at 12:00 am on 1st November 2026.
