The MAKITA 9 is a 9-hole Stableford competition held at Golfclub Innsbruck-Igls on the Lans course (holes 1-9). This event is part of the MAKITA 9 tournament series, an Austrian Golf Union (ÖGV) sanctioned competition open to all amateur golfers who are members of an ÖGV-recognized or internationally affiliated golf club and hold a World Handicap Index (WHI) of 54 or lower. The competition is played over one round of 9 holes using Stableford scoring with handicap strokes. Maximum field size is 48 players. Entries close on the day of the event at 09:00. Tee times and playing conditions (women from red tees, men from yellow tees) are set by the club. Results are recorded in the ÖGV regional ranking lists by age category (under 30, 31-45, 46-60, and 61+). Players must agree to publication of their name, home club, handicap, and score, and consent to photography and video for promotional use. The series runs from May 2026 to April 2027, with the best 9 results from up to 50+ club tournaments counting toward the regional and national rankings. Qualification for Conference Finals and the Austria Final requires participation in at least 5 events.

The Parkland Course Lans is a romantic 9-hole golf course located in Lans, nestled amid spruce, deciduous, and fruit trees. The course design features seemingly easy fairway routing and can be completed in approximately 90 minutes under normal play conditions. The layout is characterized by its gentle terrain and integration with the natural woodland setting. The modern clubhouse includes a comfortable lounge and terrace from which most of the course is visible, providing scenic views during and after play. The course is part of Golf Club Innsbruck-Igls, founded in 1935, and sits on a sunny terrace approximately 7 kilometers from Innsbruck in the Austrian Alps. The setting offers stunning panoramic views of the Nordkette mountain range and provides a unique alpine golfing experience combined with the region's natural beauty. The course welcomes golfers of all skill levels and is complemented by professional instruction and clubhouse facilities.
