The MAKITA 9 is a 9-hole competition held at the Parkland Course Lans, Golfclub Innsbruck-Igls. It is part of the ÖGV Makita Afterwork 9 series. The event is played as a stroke play event over 9 holes with handicap strokes, and results are handicap-relevant. Open to all amateur golfers who are members of a golf club affiliated with the Austrian Golf Federation (ÖGV) or an ÖGV-recognized foreign national federation, with a World Handicap Index (WHI) of maximum 54. Players tee off in two groups (men from the yellow tees, women from the red tees). Registration is required by the deadline specified by the club (typically via the ÖGV tournament calendar or directly with the club). The entry fee covers the green fee and includes a meal after the tournament. There are no prizes for individual club tournament days; prizes are awarded only at the series finals.
