Narumi Country Club is an 18-hole golf course located in Mizuho Ward, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, situated approximately 30 minutes from the city center. The course is set in a natural, green environment that offers a distinct retreat from the urban surroundings. The front nine presents a varied test of golf, beginning with a Par 4 first hole that plays to a slight uphill slope. The second hole is a demanding Par 5, featuring a left dogleg and a green guarded by a pot bunker at the front. The third hole is a relatively straightforward Par 3, while the fourth hole is a flat Par 4 with a raised green that requires an aggressive approach. The fifth hole is the most challenging on the front nine, a long Par 5 with water hazards and a difficult approach shot over a guard bunker. The sixth hole is a short Par 3 with a downhill tee shot and out-of-bounds to the rear. The seventh and ninth holes are Par 4s, with the ninth being a dogleg right that requires precise positioning to avoid water and bunkers. The eighth hole is the club's signature hole, a Par 3 where the green is an island surrounded entirely by water, offering a scenic view of the nearby Megane Bridge. The back nine continues the challenge with a mix of Par 3s and Par 4s. The tenth hole is a Par 3 with a two-tiered green that demands accurate putting. The eleventh and twelfth holes are Par 4s, with the twelfth playing from an elevated tee to a downhill green. The course layout requires careful distance control and strategic shot placement to navigate the bunkers, water hazards, and out-of-bounds areas effectively.
