The Kirin Beer Cup is a 9-hole strokeplay competition held at New Karumai Country Club in Iwate Prefecture, Japan. The event uses a Double Paria format, a pairs/betterball-style competition where two players compete as a team with the better score of the pair counting. The competition is open to all golfers, including visitors and non-members. Entry fees are ¥11,350 for club members and ¥13,220 for guests on weekdays (¥16,300 for guests on weekends and public holidays), which includes usage tax, consumption tax, the entry fee, one meal, and one drink. The event features GPS navigation cart self-play. Play is limited to 9 holes with no extension allowed. Players must book as a group of 2-4; solo play is not permitted. Payment is accepted at the front desk on arrival on a first-come, first-served basis. Tee times start from 3:00 PM.

The course also features a restaurant that offers seasonal dishes, allowing players to enjoy the views while dining.
