Entry Fee: $520.00

Halloween-themed 4-person team scramble at Whitetail Ridge Golf Club on Saturday, October 31, 2026, with a 9am shotgun start. Teams of four play a scramble format, with each player teeing off from their respective tees (men from Blue, seniors 60+ from Gold, ladies from Silver) and the best shot selected to continue; every putt must be holed out. Pins are placed in tough 'spooky' locations. The event includes contest holes for additional prizes, an optional $100-per-team cash-only skins pot, a hot dog lunch, a group costume contest, and a 1-hour open bar after the round at 1:30pm (well drinks, domestic and draft beers, non-alcoholic options). Entry fee is $520 per team and includes golf, cart, range, prizes, the group costume prize, lunch, and the open bar. Scoring uses a flighted system: once all scorecards are in, teams are divided into three flights by leaderboard position, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places in each flight are paid out. Ties are broken by a backwards scorecard playoff starting at hole 18. Best costume wins a prize. Event manager contact: Andrew Collins, andrew@whitetailridgegc.com.

Whitetail Ridge Golf Club

Yorkville, IL, United States

Whitetail Ridge Golf Club is a par-71, 6,828-yard championship course located in Yorkville, Illinois, designed by architect Greg Martin. The course features a distinctive "two nines" layout with contrasting terrain and character. The front nine plays through a valley setting with deep views into tree-lined farmland and relatively flat terrain bisected by a creek. The back nine transitions into rolling hills, climbing upward and winding through tall oaks and wooded slopes that blend with the course's natural surroundings. The course's design strategically utilizes the property's pristine landscape and topography, creating an engaging round that flows with the terrain's natural contours. The combination of the valley's open views and creek play on the front nine contrasts with the back nine's wooded, elevated terrain, providing variety throughout the round. The course is situated in the rolling hills characteristic of the Yorkville area, offering scenic vistas and a challenging layout that balances the two distinct nine-hole sections.
