Classic Mid-Amateurs d'Albon

The Classic Mid-Amateurs d'Albon is a two-day individual strokeplay competition for amateur golfers aged 25 and over, held at Domaine du Golf d'Albon on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 July 2026. The event consists of 36 holes (18 holes per day) played as individual strokeplay with a maximum score of Par + 4 per hole. Separate series are available for ladies (playing from the blue tees, marker IV) and gentlemen (playing from the white tees, marker II). Entry is open to amateur golfers holding an active FFGolf license with a current medical certificate or health questionnaire, or those licensed in a recognized foreign federation with appropriate health attestation. The entry fee is €90 for adults and €50 for golf club subscribers. Registration is by post with payment by check, with a deadline of Friday 10 July 2026. The maximum number of players is 144, with a minimum of 39 ladies and up to 14 wild cards allowed. Selection priority is given by Mid-Amateurs National Ranking, then handicap index, then date of receipt. A playoff for first place is played hole-by-hole if required. Prizes are awarded to the top three finishers in each series, followed by a cocktail presentation 30 minutes after the last players return. A free reconnaissance round is available by reservation up to five days before the event.
