Monthly Cup

The Maandbeker is a monthly individual competition held at De Zeeuwsche Middelburg from April through September. The event runs on the second Saturday of even-numbered months and the second Sunday of odd-numbered months. Players can choose between two categories: Category A (Strokeplay, recommended for handicaps 18 or lower, with net scoring for men playing from the red tees) and Category B (Stableford, open to all handicaps, with a maximum handicap of 36 used for scoring). All players compete individually over 18 holes. Entry is open to members of De Zeeuwsche and to guests (non-members) holding a handicap of 54 or lower. Guests must register via email to maandbeker@gmail.com, while members register through the Mijn Zeeuwsche online portal. Entries close on the Thursday at 10:00 AM prior to the competition day. The entry fee is €5 per participant, payable electronically on the day of the event. Guests are also required to pay the standard greenfee rate. Start times begin at 10:00 AM, with flights of 2, 3, or 4 players. At the end of the season, an overall classification is determined in each category based on the sum of the three best scores. Prizes are awarded daily for each category, including a parking privilege for the day winner. The competition is qualifying and scores must be submitted via the intogolf.nl web app.
