San Lameer Country Club

KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa

San Lameer Country Club is an 18-hole championship golf course located within a 200-hectare coastal eco-estate on South Africa's KwaZulu-Natal South Coast. Designed by Peter Matkovich and Dale Hayes, the course is ranked among South Africa's top 30 golf courses and features a distinctive layout that weaves through wetlands, forests, and open glades with panoramic Indian Ocean views. The course offers a challenging yet rewarding playing experience set within a sub-tropical coastal environment, benefiting from cool Indian Ocean breezes. The routing incorporates the natural landscape of the estate, with holes navigating through indigenous vegetation and natural terrain features. The setting provides golfers with both scenic beauty and strategic design elements. San Lameer functions as part of a larger coastal resort community, integrating with luxury villa accommodations, a resort hotel and spa, and access to Blue Flag beaches. The golf course forms a central element of the estate's recreational offerings, serving both resort guests and members seeking a premium coastal golfing experience in a conservancy-focused setting.
