Fairfield Hills Hardest Day Tournament

Event Details

Date: Sunday, 04 October 2026

Format: Team Scramble

Category: Open

Entry Method: Online

The Fairfield Hills Hardest Day Tournament is a 4-person team scramble competition held at Fairfield Hills Golf Course on Sunday, October 4, 2026, with a 10:00am start. The event features an 18-hole cross-country style format on a unique 9-hole course that is played twice. In the scramble format, each player in the group hits a tee shot, then the team selects the best shot and all players play their next ball from that spot. This process continues until the ball is holed. All balls must be played within one scorecard-length of the chosen ball, no closer to the hole, and players must retain like surfaces (e.g., if a ball is chosen from the rough, all players must play from the rough). To add to the challenge, the use of rangefinders or GPS devices is prohibited, and yardages will not be provided. The event also includes a cash skins game where teams can win skins on individual holes, with birdies on holes 2, 7, and 8 paid out if no skins are won. Additional contests include closest to the pin challenges on holes 5 and 6, and longest putt made on hole 9. The tournament is open to the public.
