The Midweek Challenge is an individual stableford competition held on the Championship Course at Golf-Club Gut Murstätten. Tee times start between approximately 11:30 and 13:00, depending on the number of participants. The entry fee of 25.00 EUR includes a lab station (refreshment stop). The green fee is 93.00 EUR. The maximum number of participants is 54 (or 51 according to the official announcement PDF). Entry is open to all amateur golfers who are members of a club affiliated with the Austrian Golf Federation (ÖGV) or a foreign national golf federation, and who hold a handicap of 36.0 or better (Stammvorgabe) or a club handicap up to 54. Online entry is available via golf.at from August 8, 2026, until September 14, 2026, at 23:00. Entry can also be made by phone or email to the club secretariat (Tel: +43 3182-35 55, email: office@gcmurstaetten.at). The entry deadline is Tuesday at 12:00. Prizes are awarded for daily gross scores to men and women (3 prizes per net group), and the overall season ranking is based on the best 8 net results. A Hole in One prize of a 100 EUR voucher from the Golfhouse is awarded, and the overall season winner receives a valuable travel voucher from Von Gruber Golfreisen. The event is sponsored by JOURNAL GRAZ. Players compete in threes (Dreierflights). The competition follows the official R&A Rules Limited, ÖGV regulations and playing conditions, current ÖGV competition recommendations (Yearbook), and the course rules of GC Gut Murstätten.
