Richland Golf Club is a semi-private 18-hole course located 2 miles north of Olney in Southern Illinois. Constructed in 1927, the course represents a unique blend of golf design across two distinct nine-hole sections. The original nine holes, built in 1927, contrast sharply with the newer nine holes constructed in 1996. Spread across 140 acres, the course features a scenic setting surrounded by woods, water, and wildlife. The course offers diverse playing surfaces, with zoysia tee boxes, bermuda fairways, and bent grass greens, creating one of Southern Illinois' most distinctive layouts. The terrain and natural surroundings provide varying challenges across the property. Amenities include a full driving range, putting green, full-service bar, and deck patio. The course hosts social and golf events throughout the year and welcomes both daily green fee players and members, offering membership packages with available discounts for new members and corporate groups.
