The Divorce Open is a fun, mixed-gender couples golf event held at Blue Ocean Golf Club. The 2026 series takes place on Sunday afternoons (May 17, June 14, July 12, August 9, and September 13) with 3:00 pm shotgun starts. The competition consists of 9 holes played in three distinct formats: Holes 1-3 are Better Ball, Holes 4-6 are Scramble, and Holes 7-9 are Alternate Shot. The event includes dinner and prizes. Entry is open to the public (visitors and members). Fees are $60 per person plus tax and tip for guests ($67.50) and $44 per person plus tax and tip for Blue Ocean members ($50.70). Registration is handled by phone to the Golf Shop (604-885-2700). Handicaps are not used for this event; play follows Summer Rules (Golf Canada Rules apply with 'play the ball as it lies').
