Winnebago County Sr. Amateur

The Men's Winnebago County Senior Amateur is a 36-hole individual stroke play tournament held at Macktown Golf Course on Thursday, September 10 and Friday, September 11, 2026. Open to male amateur golfers aged 50 and older. Players compete in 36 holes of medal play and are flighted after 18 holes of play. Awards are given for first, second, and third places in each age group (50-55, 56-62, 63-69, 70+), with an overall champion declared. Competitors must meet USGA amateur status. Registration opens August 1, 2026, and closes Wednesday, September 2, 2026. Entry fee is $35.00 for Forest Preserves of Winnebago County Pass Holders and $65.00 for Non-Pass Holders. Entry includes 36 holes of golf, use of the driving range prior to each round, a box-style lunch during each round, and a commemorative tournament tee gift. Register online at PlayThePreserves.com.
