Benalla Golf Club

Victoria, Australia

Benalla Golf Club is a championship 18-hole golf course located in North East Victoria, approximately two hours from Melbourne in the Goulburn Valley region. Operating since 1903, the course features manicured Santa Anna fairways and pristine grass greens set within peaceful Victoria bushland. The layout is notably flat and walkable, making it accessible to golfers of all abilities from beginners to experienced players. The course presents a balanced challenge with strategically placed bunkers and water hazards. A distinctive characteristic is the natural wildlife, with kangaroos frequently grazing alongside the fairways, contributing to the bushland experience. The setting combines a scenic natural environment with modern facilities, including newly constructed driving range facilities. Benalla Golf Club functions as a full-service country club, hosting regular competitions throughout the year and providing comprehensive hire options for equipment including clubs, buggies, and electric carts. The clubhouse overlooks the greens and accommodates both golf activities and dining at the on-site bistro. The club welcomes both members and public players, offering flexible membership options and maintaining a strong community focus with beginner programs and junior golf initiatives.
