Big Sky Resort Golf Course is an award-winning 18-hole par 72 course located at 6,500 feet above elevation in Big Sky, Montana. Designed by Arnold Palmer in the early 1970s, the course offers spectacular views of Lone Peak and winds along the wildlife-rich banks of the West Fork of the Gallatin River. The elevated setting enhances distance on shots, providing players with longer drives than sea-level courses. The course accommodates all ages and skill levels, offering options to play 9 or 18 holes, along with driving range access. The layout combines classic links-style golf with Montana's natural landscape and panoramic mountain scenery. Big Sky Resort Golf Course operates as the area's only public golf course and hosts tournaments and leagues throughout the summer season, which runs from mid-May through late September. The facility includes the Bunker Deck & Grill restaurant, pro shop with rentals and repairs, and instructional programs ranging from private lessons to group clinics.
