West Linton Golf Club is an 18-hole, par 69 moorland championship course located in the Scottish Borders, approximately 20 minutes south of Edinburgh via the A702. Designed by the renowned James Braid and established in 1890, the course is situated above the conservation village of West Linton in the shadow of Mendick Hill. The course offers stunning panoramic views of the Scottish Border countryside, including the Upper Tweeddale hills to the south, Mendick Hill to the southwest, and the Pentland Hills to the north. The moorland setting provides abundant wildlife, with red grouse, hares, owls, and curlews commonly observed. West Linton presents a challenging yet enjoyable layout suitable for golfers of all abilities. The well-appointed clubhouse overlooks the closing three holes and provides comprehensive facilities for pre and post-round activities.
