Tamalou of July

The Tamalou of July is a golf competition held at Golf Club de Bourbon on Tuesday, July 28, 2026. Players can enter as individuals (Simple) in Stableford format or in pairs (Double) using the Chapman format. The event is open to men, women, and mixed categories, with priority given to players over 50 years of age (seniors), followed by other categories if places remain. Entries are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis via the AMS Golf Albatros app only, with a deadline of Friday, July 18, 2026 at 5:00 PM. The entry fee is €32 for club subscribers and AS GCB members, €42 for subscribers who are not AS GCB members, and €70 for external visitors. The entry fee includes lots and a hot buffet meal. Cart rentals are available through the golf club secretariat, with priority given to players with motor disabilities. Tee times are drawn and displayed before play begins, with a shotgun start at 8:00 AM (meeting at 7:30 AM). Red tees for ladies, yellow tees for gentlemen, and blue tees for senior gentlemen. The handicap index is capped at 36 for the pairs event. Tie-break procedure: best 9 holes, best 6 holes, best 3 holes, and best last hole; if still tied, hole-by-hole scoring in reverse order (17, 16, ...).
