The Medley Open Comp runs Monday to Friday from 7am to 12pm. The format is a Single Stableford competition with 2-Ball Betterball (2BBB). The visitor fee is $80, which includes the competition fee. Entry must be booked with the Pro-shop on 9053 1761. Visitors must have played a minimum of 3 of their last 20 games at their Home Club nominated by Golflink; failure to comply makes players ineligible to win trophies including ball competitions.

Strathfield Golf Club is a private golf course located in Strathfield, NSW, featuring a recently redeveloped layout. The course underwent significant masterplanning that includes 14 new greens, 16 new tee boxes, and a completely new routing. A distinctive characteristic of the redesign is the integration of the Cooks River as a prominent feature, which comes into play on 10 holes and is crossed on 6 occasions throughout the course. The club underwent major redevelopment, with a new clubhouse completed in November 2018, which received recognition as the 2019 Clubhouse of the Year (3rd place) by Golf Inc Magazine. The facility includes Bistro 18 for dining, a sports bar, and additional amenities such as golf simulators and a golf academy. The course is designed to accommodate various skill levels through its membership categories and public booking options. The redesigned layout emphasizes the natural water features and landscape of the property while maintaining playability for different golfer abilities.
