Hoist the Flag is a four-player team flag competition (Vierer-Flaggenwettspiel) held on Sunday, 2 August 2026 at Golfclub Passau Raßbach. The event is an open tournament (offenes Turnier) with stableford scoring. Four-player teams compete in betterball format. Entry is open to amateur golfers with a valid handicap from a DGV-affiliated club. Maximum handicap is 54 or Playing Handicap (PR). Entry can be made via the clubhouse entry list, form, fax, phone, email, or internet. Start lists are published the day before at approximately 16:00 in the clubhouse or on golf.de. The event is sponsored by Optik Ranzinger.

Donau Golf Club Passau-Raßbach is a 24-hole golf facility (18+6 holes) located on a south-facing plateau at the edge of the southern Bavarian Forest, approximately 10 kilometers northeast of Passau near the small village of Raßbach in Thyrnau. The course is situated within a scenic landscape featuring fish-rich streams and ponds interspersed with deciduous and coniferous forests in gentle valleys and rolling hills. The layout offers varied terrain with wide fairways throughout the course. Notable features include the finishing hole on the terrace of the Leo's golf and country hotel (Anetseder). The facility operates without mandatory tee times, allowing golfers to start at any time without significant waiting periods. The course accommodates golfers of all skill levels and hosts a comprehensive tournament calendar. The club has a golf academy offering instruction, including courses for beginners and handicap improvement programs, with TrackMan IV technology available for swing analysis.
