Withington Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course set in the Mersey Valley near Manchester and Cheshire, measuring 6,388 yards. The course features lush tree-lined fairways and responsive greens, and is widely regarded as one of the finest parkland layouts in the region. The club has invested in course enhancements including the installation of numerous ponds and ditches throughout the layout, which add both challenge and character to the design. The terrain and setting within the valley provide an attractive playing environment with natural landscaping. The course presents a demanding test for both amateur and professional golfers, with its length and water hazards contributing to the difficulty. Beyond the course itself, Withington offers quality practice facilities, well-maintained changing rooms, and bar and catering services. The club actively welcomes visitors and societies.
