The Bingara Gorge Golf Course runs a regular Saturday & Sunday 18-Hole Open Competition in individual stableford format. The event is open to all golfers, including visitors and non-members. Visitor entry costs $55 AUD, which includes the green fee and competition fee. Residents pay a competition fee of $20. The course is an 18-hole, par-72 layout designed by Graham Marsh, currently offering holes 10-18 for play. Competitions are held weekly on Saturdays and Sundays. Prizes are awarded based on net scores, with prize structures varying by number of entrants: 6-9 players receive a $50 voucher for the 1st nett winner; 10-14 players receive $50, $30, and $10 for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd nett winners; 15+ players receive additional prizes including gross winners and grade divisions (A Grade 1-15 and B Grade 16+). The event is played off net scores with handicap allowances. Tee times can be booked online through the course's booking system.
