The Men's & Ladies Open Singles is a weekly Monday open competition played as a singles stableford competition on the main course at Beaverstown Golf Club. The event is open to both men and ladies, with visitors welcome to enter. The entry fee for visitors is €30.00 (members pay €6.00). Golfers must hold a current GUI/ILGU handicap card; overseas visitors require a current certificate of handicap from their home club. Men must have a handicap of 28 or less, and ladies must have a handicap of 36 or less. If you do not have a handicap, you must be able to play to an equivalent standard. The competition runs on Monday mornings, with tee times available from 08:00 to 16:00. Normal GUI/ILGU dress code applies (no denims, shorts, football/rugby tops, or tracksuits), and soft spikes may be worn. Buggies are available for booking. Prizes for visitors in open events can be collected from behind the bar, or for sponsored competitions by contacting the club office.
