The Snake Gully Challenge is a monthly black tee strokeplay competition held on the first Thursday of each month at Windaroo Lakes Golf Course. Named after the course's notoriously difficult 16th hole, a 437m double water-carry par 4 known as Snake Gully, this event challenges golfers to take on the course's hardest hole. The competition features an Open Division with a voucher prize for the overall winner and a Snake Gully shirt for the nett winner on the day. Entry is $25 for 7-day members and $50 for all other members and visitors. Visitors can book online through the club's public booking system. The event is open to all golfers and is not restricted to club members.
